If this first wedding of 2017 is any glimpse into what 2017 is going to bring then it’s going to be a fantastic year! Katie and Jay tied the knot in at the Friendly Hills County Club in Whitter California. This was such an amazing wedding and I am so excited to finally be able to share this with you!
How did you two meet?
“We met at a skate shop where we both worked. Before I (Katie) started, the owner mentioned to Jay that he just hired a girl, and he would definitely like her! A couple months and a couple happy hours later. Jay asked to take me out on a “real” date, while in a Vegas nightclub!”
How did he propose: “Nervous, after missing the initial proposal spot he got down on both knees in seaport village! On top of a blanket filled with candles, while my twin sister and her now husband took photos!”
Favorite part of wedding day: the first look!
Jay: because Katie looked so beautiful and I had her all to myself for that quick moment before the wedding
Katie: walking up to jay and noticing that he was crying and grinning from ear to ear. I didn’t know that jay even had tear ducts, so you can imagine how surprised I felt!
