Oh mmmmm geeeee! I am SO excited to be featuring images that I took at The Arts of Wedding Workshop on the blog today. I had been looking all year for an amazing workshop to do and this workshop put on by Sadi of Whimsie Photographie definitely fit the bill. I wanted a workshop that would be more than just a styled shoot, but of course still have one. This workshop actually ended up being two full days, an amazing styled shoot day one and a full day focusing on business and editing. I picked up a lot of really good tips and even learned of some new software that I have since been able to incorporate into my workflow (and save some serious time!). The shoot took place at The Secret Garden at Parrish Ranch in Oak Glen. This is the venue that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis tied the knot at back in 2015 and it isn’t hard to see why. This venue is beyond amazing. The grounds are lush and green with huge willow trees. There are multiple levels to the grounds that make it very easy to chose different locations for ceremony and reception, couples will have endless choice to customize their day. And I can’t forget my favorite part, the lake with a boat! I kinda want to go redo my wedding pictures just so I can have boat pictures to hang in my house. Beyond the venue, the vendors that came out went above and beyond to make this shoot amazing. The styling and florals by A La Carte Weddings were perfect. The table set ups where flawless and that bouquet…..swoon. Make sure you check out the full list of vendors below.
