Graduation season is upon us yet again and this year is special year because so many kids I know are seniors. Senior portraits are one of my favorite types of portrait sessions to shoot. Seniors are always so fun and have so many fun ideas and hobbies that we get to incorporate into the sessions. I love taking a seniors hobbies and personalities and mixing them into portraits that they will love. It gives them a chance to dress up, and take fun pictures that capture their personality. For four year while I was in college I worked as an AVID tutor at a local high school and many of the kids I tutored as freshman are going to be graduating this year (WHAT?!?!). It’s crazy. These kids where just babies starting high school yesterday I swear. Anyways, one of the kids that I have tutored since he was a freshman is Anthony ( I also tutored his older brother and went to high school with his older sister!). Anthony is one of those kids that you can’t help but like. He’s nice, polite, smart, and a gifted athlete. While Anthony was on the Heritage High School football team, they won the CIF Southern Section championship. That is such an amazing experience and it was so cool that Anthony brought his CIF championship ring to incorporate into his session! Even though Anthony plays football, his first love is baseball. This is why Anthony will be attending Cal State Fullerton in the Fall with hopes of walking onto their baseball team. Good luck Anthony!!
I loved Anthony’s choice of clothing! He looked so nice!
This was such a cool idea! Anthony’s mom had the idea to get everyone new gear from Anthony’s new college and do this big group photo.
