Miss “A” Boudoir

Posted in: Boudoir

I am so excited to announce that my studio is ready to go! My husband and I have spent the last two weeks updating our spare bedroom into my new studio. I have been able to add drapes, new bedding, and a GORGEOUS headboard that my husband actually made himself (I think I’ll keep him). Since I just couldn’t wait to shoot some gorgeous ladies in my new studio I decided to give away a session and Miss A answered the call. In her initial email to me she was beyond sweet and I knew that I could not wait to get her in front of my camera. Scheduling a boudoir session can be scary for so many women, and Miss A expressed that she was a little shy in front of the camera. She wanted to know what she needed to bring and asked if she needed to go out and buy anything special. My exact response was “not unless you want to”. I want my clients to be them selves and be comfortable in whatever they decide to wear. If that means going out and buying a brand new lingerie outfit or your favorite pajamas, that’s fine by me. Your pictures should be a reflection of who you are and whether you are doing boudoir for yourself or for a significant other, you aren’t going to love pictures that don’t express who you are. So bring your favorite tee-shirt, a sweater you love, your husbands clothes, a gorgeous outfit you saw in the window of Victoria Secret, or anything else you can think of and create so amazing images for you.

BTW: this sweatshirt is pretty much everything….

And if you don’t want to bring anything, a sheet works just fine 😉
